Well, it's that time of year again. The time when I get my annual injury.
Yep, once again whilst stalking the house in bare feet I turn and kick something really hard. This time my fourth toe on my left foot against the bed leg. After a few hours I could walk almost normally again, and the next day (today) it still hurts like crazy, but only from bending it or when my kids stand on it.
It's gone a loverly purple and blue and red colour scheme.
However, new in for this year, an alternative foot injury. Whilst still limping badly from the stubbed toe, I picked up my son (2 and a half in both years and stones) to remove him from my office where he was on a demolition mission, I turned and stood on a mains plug. Though the plug moved, one of the pins took a huge chunk out of my right foot near the heel complete with blood and dangling flap of skin !!
For ages I didn't know which leg to limp with !!!
Oh well - it is summer after all.
Just be pleased I decided against posting photos of the injuries on here !!!
